Biochem/physiol Actions

パクリタキセルは、強力な抗悪性腫瘍および抗有糸分裂性のタキサン系薬物であり、β-チューブリンのN末端と結合し、微小管を安定化させてG2/M期の細胞周期を停止させます。微小管が損傷すると、JNK依存性経路と後続するJNK非依存性経路を通じてアポトーシスが誘発されます（おそらくは、プロテインキナーゼA（PKA）またはRaf-1キナーゼの活性化と関連し、Bcl-2のリン酸化が引き起こされます）。CYP2CBが関わる主要な代謝物は、6α-ヒドロキシパクリタキセル（6α-OHP）です。
