      Description
OverviewNative glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase from Leuconostoc mesenteroides. Catalyzes the conversion of glucose-6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconate. The enzyme can use either NAD+ or NADP+ as an electron acceptor. Reaction velocity with NAD+ is ~1.8 times greater than that with NADP+. Note: 10,000 NADP units are equivalent to ~18,000 NAD units.
