      DescriptionPurified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~40 kDa Fas ligand (CD95L) protein.
      BackgroundHuman Fas ligand (CD95L) is a ~40 kDa type II membrane protein that induces apoptosis in cells expressing Fas (CD95). Fas ligand is one of the major effectors of CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes and NK activity. Loss of Fas ligand leads to lymphoproliferative and autoimmune disease.
