DescriptionA cell-permeable, potent, high affinity, and ATP-competitive inhibitor of CK2 (IC50 = 150 nM for rat liver CK2; Ki = 40 nM). Displays ~1,300 fold greater selectivity over CK1 (IC50 > 200 µM) and is superior to CK2 inhibitor, TBB (Cat. No. 218697) in cell studies. Inhibits dual specificity tyrosine phosphorylation regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A) with comparable efficacy and minimally affects the activities of 30 other protein kinases tested. Also shown to induce apoptosis in Jurkat T cells at 2.5 µM.
