OverviewA potent antagonist highly selective for AChRs with α7 subunit (Ki = 1.4 nM for α7 subunit and > 40 nM for α4β2 and α6β2 receptors). Frequently used in assessing the functional roles of AChRs with α7 subunit in brain functions and disorders (i.e. inflammatory and chronic neuropathic pain and parkinsonian neurodegeneration).
