General description
フルオレセイン5(6)-イソチオシアナート（別名FITC）は弱酸性のヒドロキシキサンテンで、全体のサイズが小さく、ペンダントフェニル環にカルボン酸とイソチオシアナートの置換基があります。この色素には、中サイズの非平面芳香族系が含まれています。 イソチオシアナート基は、蛍光標識として結合する生体分子の求核置換基（アミノ、ヒドロキシル、チオールなど）と反応します。 同一溶媒でのこの色素の最大発光波長は、519 nmです。
