ビシンコニン酸溶液（ビシンコニン酸タンパク質測定キット）は、下記の用途で使用されます：
- 補助界面活性剤としてイオン液体を用いたミセル水性二相分配法によりパイナップル茎残渣から抽出したブロメラインの定量のプロセスで、総タンパク質含有量の測定。
- チタン合金板にリン酸カルシウムの生体模倣コーティングと共沈させたウシ血清アルブミン（BSA）の定量。
本製品は、Bicinchoninic Acid (BCA) methodによるタンパク質定量に広く用いられています。

General description
タンパク質の定量は、生化学研究で最も頻繁に行われる操作の1つです。ビシンコニン酸溶液はビシンコニン酸（BCA）法で用いられており、これはLowry法と同様です。いずれの方法も、アルカリ条件下でCu2+-タンパク質複合体を形成し、Cu2+がCu1+に還元されることに頼っています。還元される量は、存在するタンパク質濃度に比例します。BCA法は、ビウレット法またはLowry法のいずれよりも感度が高く、適用範囲が広い方法です。
