General description
SupraSolv® MS is a dedicated high-purity solvent grade specifically engineered for sample preparation and extraction in gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometric detection (GC-MS)
Application
SupraSolv® MS solvents are routinely employed in highly demanding GC-MS-based analytical workflows, including polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) determination in water and soil, pesticide residue analysis in food commodities such as fruits and vegetables, environmental contaminant profiling, dioxin screening, and multi-residue methods — applications in which unambiguous mass spectral identification and accurate trace-level quantification are of paramount regulatory and scientific importance.
Analysis Note
SupraSolv® MS solvents are produced via purification processes, yielding:
- Extremely low levels of non-volatile residues and evaporation residues, preventing column contamination and ion source fouling
- Minimal intrinsic volatile organic impurities, verified by GC-MS testing across the full chromatographic retention time window
Other Notes
Explore various lab safety accessories and equipment for safe handling of solvents to increase your safety level from the first usage.
