At Merck, Markus is responsible for a broad portfolio of pharmaceutical excipients with a focus on regulatory topics. Prior to coming to Merck, he worked in product development at RP Scherer/Catalent Pharma Solutions where he was responsible for formulation development and project management. Markus holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

Subhasis Banerjee is the Principal Process Consultant in the Technical & Scientific Solutions group of Process Solutions at our company based out of Bangalore, India. Subhasis supports technical consultation on Process Development , Scaleup and troubleshooting for downstream processing for the APAC region, working for the last 18 years in our company. He is a Ph.D. in Biochemistry with a post-doctoral experience from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Banerjee has several publications in international peer reviewed journals and presentations in several national and International Conferences.

Brittany leads global marketing activities for specialty chemicals used in upstream cell culture media at Merck. She has been with Merck for 13 years. Prior to joining the marketing franchise, Brittany worked in technical service, helping customers better understand how to use our products, and in the production lab as a chemist, manufacturing enzymes and proteins. Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University.

Prateek leads global marketing activities for key strategic segments of small molecules and therapeutic proteins. He has been with Merck for 8 years and in the life science industry for well over a decade. Before moving to strategic marketing, Prateek had been working closely with customers as a sales manager, helping them choose the most optimal products for their formulation needs. He is a pharmacist, a business management graduate from NMIMS Mumbai, and has worked with BASF prior to joining our company.
