General description
A utility carrier of nitric oxide. Breaks down to produce nitric oxide and a glutathione radical at pH 7.4. Causes smooth muscle relaxation and inhibits platelet aggregation. Induces apoptosis in mouse thymocytes. Note: 1 set = 5 x 2.5 mg.

Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at -20°C or for up to 2 h at 4°C.
