For protein-based therapeutics, such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) or plasma derived proteins, often highly concentrated protein formulations are required to meet intended dosing regimens. However, this usually comes with elevated viscosities and presents a challenge in the manufacturing process and final formulation.
