Application

Hydrobromic acid can be used as a brominating agent for the:
  • Bromination of benzothiadiazoles and methylamines.
  • Oxidative bromination of olefins, alkynes, and ketones to corresponding dibrominated alkanes, alkenes, and α-bromoketones.
