General description
Metabolic hormones like insulin, leptin, ghrelin, adiponectin, and resistin are central to regulating energy homeostasis, appetite, and glucose metabolism. Insulin facilitates cellular glucose uptake; leptin signals satiety and modulates fat storage; ghrelin stimulates hunger; adiponectin improves insulin sensitivity and has anti-inflammatory effects; resistin is associated with insulin resistance and inflammation. Application

Note: Amylin Active and Total cannot be run together in the same assay. GLP-1 Active and Total cannot be run together in the same assay. Some analytes require a protease inhibitor during sample collection.
