General description

Thiophanate-methyl is a systemic benzimidazole fungicide, commonly used in agriculture for the pre- and post-harvest treatment of pathogen affecting a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Application

Thiophanate-methyl may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in fruits, and wines using different chromatography techniques.
