Application

Lithium chloride solution has been used:

to obtain LiClPAM3 DCs form of dendritic cell
in LiCl buffer preparation for immunoprecipitation
in the preparation of wash buffer
in the preparation of radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIPA) wash buffer

May be used to selectively precipitate RNA.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Lithium chloride has the ability to block glycogen synthase kinase (GSK). It may also possess anti-inflammatory effects at low and non-toxic concentrations.
