General description

1α,25-ジヒドロキシビタミンD3は、カルシウムの吸収と沈着においてビタミンD3の生理活性型です。細胞の分化や増殖に幅広い効果を与え、免疫応答や中枢神経系の機能を調節できます。最近の研究によると、1α,25-ジヒドロキシビタミンD3は前立腺癌や大腸癌などいくつかの悪性腫瘍に対して化学予防剤として機能し、また、他の抗癌化合物との相乗効果を示すことが示唆されています。
