Biochem/physiol Actions
IgGは抗体依存性細胞傷害（ADCC）を促進します。補体系の古典的経路の活性化を助けます。ウイルス粒子および毒素を中和します。IgMは免疫応答の初期の段階で発現して、アポトーシスを起こした細胞の飲み込みを補助します。IgMはポリ反応性と自己反応性の機能を備えています。IgMは、組織利用分子のクリアランスを仲介することによって組織の恒常性を誘起します。血清IgMレベルが低下すると、自己免疫応答の増加と感染症のリスクの増加につながります。
General description
免疫グロブリンG（IgG）は、ヒト血清中に最も豊富に存在する免疫グロブリンです。IgMは全血清免疫グロブリンの5-10%を占めます。これらの免疫グロブリンは4本のポリペプチド鎖から構成されており、2本は重鎖（H）、2本は軽鎖（L）です。これらのポリペプチド鎖はジスルフィド結合により相互に連結されています。IgMは脊椎動物で高度に保存された抗体です。IgMは五量体として存在します。IgGとIgMは両方ともB細胞が分泌します。
