General description
免疫グロブリンG（IgG）は、ヒト血清に最も豊富に含まれているタンパク質の1つで、成人血液中の正常レベルは8～17 mg/mLです。IgGは微生物に対する体の防御にとって重要であり、その分子は適応免疫反応の一部としてBリンパ球によって産生されます。IgG分子には独立した2つの機能があります。それは、反応を誘発した病原体と結合すること、およびその他の細胞と分子を動員して抗原を破壊することです。IgGプールの変動は体細胞組み換えによって生じ、任意の時点における個体の特異性の数は1011バリアントに及ぶと推定されています。
