General description
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing Balb/c57 mice with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with NS-1 mouse myeloma cells. Recognizes the ~60 kDa tubulin protein.
Recognizes the ~60 kDa tubulin protein found in all eukaryotic cells. May be used as a positive control.
This Anti-α-Tubulin Mouse mAb (DM1A) is validated for use in Immunoblotting, Immunofluorescence for the detection of α-Tubulin.

The use of alternative promoters for the cell type-specific expression of a given mRNA/protein is a common cell strategy. NEMO is a scaffold protein required for canonical NF-κB signaling. Transcription of the NEMO gene is primarily controlled by two promoters:

Short-term abstinence from food intake, planned or unplanned, is unavoidable in modern life, but negatively correlated with appetite control and obesity. This study investigated the role of estradiol in feeding and body weight (BW) reactions to short-span cessation of feeding.

Short half-life proteins regulate many essential processes, including cell cycle, transcription, and apoptosis. However, few well-characterized protein-turnover pathways have been identified because traditional methods to measure protein half-life are time and labor intensive. To overcome this barrier, we developed a

Tumor hypoxia and high activity of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1) correlate with adverse disease outcomes, malignancy, resistance to therapy and metastasis. Nonetheless, recent studies indicate that under certain circumstances, HIF-1 stabilization may exert protective effects and even decrease tumor cell aggressiveness.
