General description

Adipokines are signaling proteins secreted by adipose tissue that influence inflammation, metabolism, and energy balance. This set of biomarkers—IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8/CXCL8, Insulin, Leptin, MCP-1/CCL2, NGF, and TNFα—captures the interplay between metabolic regulation and immune response. These analytes are associated with insulin sensitivity, appetite control, inflammatory signaling, and neuroimmune interactions, making them highly relevant for research in obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic inflammation.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 8 analytes in human serum or plasma samples.
