General description

Fast Green FCF is a synthetic organic dye, which belongs to the triphenylmethane group. It can be found in a wide range of applications in food and beverage industry. It can also be used in scientific research for the staining of proteins and identification of extracellular recording or injection sites in electrophysiological experiments.

Application

ファストグリ-ンFCF色素はIEF、ネイティブPAGE、およびSDS-PAGEでのタンパク質染色に使用されます。ファストグリ-ン染色はブリリアントブル-R.より広い範囲のタンパク質濃度において直線性を有します。感度を最高にするには、電気泳動後、ゲルで中にタンパク質の固定化することをお勧めします。ゲルは0.1%ファストグリ-ンFCFの30%(v/v)のエタノ-ルもしくは、10%(v/v)の酢酸もしくは、7%の酢酸溶液中、2時間で染色できます。30%(v/v)のエタノ-ルもしくは、10%(v/v)の酢酸もしくは7%の酢酸のいずれかによりゲルを脱染色することができます。染色したゲルは625 nmでスキャンできます。検出感度はブリリアントブル- Rでの染色の約30%です。
