Application

没食子酸は、卵巣がんの治療に使用される漢方薬であるGuizhi Fuling Wanを投与されたラットの複数の血清中の没食子酸に関する、高速液体クロマトグラフィー結合トリプル四重極質量分析（HPLC / QqQ MS）の参照標準として使用されます。

Biochem/physiol Actions

没食子酸は水溶性のフェノ-ル酸で、ブドウおよび多くの植物の葉に存在します。タンニン、カテキンガレ-ト、脂肪族ガレ-トなどの没食子酸エステルは、in vitroでの強力な抗酸化物質です。しかし、没食子酸自身も、in vitroで抗酸化、抗発癌および抗血管形成活性を有すると考えられます。
