Budesonide EP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia.

Biochem/physiol Actions

ブデソニドは全身吸収性の低い第2世代のグルココルチコイドです。喘息、鼻炎や炎症性腸疾患の治療において抗炎症薬として使用されています。初代培養のヒト気管支上皮細胞で、ケモカインのmRNAの発現とエオタキシンおよびRANTESの産生を阻害します。ブデソニドは、肺癌の予防薬として現在治験中です。マウスでベンゾピレン誘導性の肺癌の発生に対する抑制効果がみとめられています。
全身吸収性が低い第2世代のグルココルチコイドは抗炎症剤であり、ケモカインmRNAの発現とエオタキシンおよびRANTESタンパク質の産生を阻害します。
