エリスロマイシンは、Streptomyces erythreus（放線菌）の特定の株の増殖により産生される抗生物質です。 この製品は、主にエリスロマイシンAと少量のエリスロマイシンBおよびCから構成され、100 mg/Lの濃度での使用が推奨されます。 50～200 mg/Lの濃度が細菌増殖の制御に効果的であることも証明されています。 エリスロマイシンは、in vitroでヒト気道における呼吸器糖抱合体の分泌を遮断するためのモチリン受容体アゴニストとして使用されるほか、プラスミドが除去された組換えLactococcus lactis MG1363株を選択するために使用されています。

Biochem/physiol Actions

作用機序：エリスロマイシンは、ペプチド転位ステップにおける伸長を阻害することで作用し、特に、細菌の70s rRNA複合体の50sサブユニットに結合することで、A-部位からP-部位へのアミノアシル転位を阻害します。

抗菌スペクトル：本製品は、グラム陰性細菌とグラム陽性細菌の両方に対して作用します。

Preparation Note

この製品は、2 mg/mLで水にやや溶けやすく、0.067%水溶液のpHは8.0～10.5です。 また、50 mg/mLでエタノールにやや溶けやすく、無色透明から淡黄色の溶液を生成します。 これは、アルコール、アセトン、クロロホルム、アセトニトリルおよび酢酸エチルに溶けやすく、酸と反応して塩を生成します。 すべての溶液は遮光する必要があります。
