Biochem/physiol Actions

作用機序：ゲンタマイシンは30Sリボソームサブユニットと結合し、ペプチジル-tRNAのアクセプター部位からドナー部位への転座を阻害することで、コドンの誤った翻訳を引き起こします。Pseudomonas aeruginosaに対するゲンタマイシンの殺菌作用は、ゲンタマイシンが外膜に結合し、その場所で天然の陽イオンを置換し、膜を不安定化し、細胞表面に孔を形成することで生じます。

抗菌スペクトル：テトラサイクリン、クロラムフェニコール、カナマイシン、およびコリスチンに耐性を示す菌株、特に、Pseudomonas、Proteus、StaphylococcusおよびStreptococcusなどのグラム陰性およびグラム陽性菌を含む。

ゲンタマイシンは、Micromonospora purpureaやM. echinosporaの発酵作用によって産生されるアミノグリコシド複合体です。 硫酸塩として使用されます。 5つの塩基性窒素を持った3つの成分があり、ゲンタマイシン塩基の分子あたり5等量の硫酸を必要とします。
水に溶けやすく、エタノールにはほとんど溶けません

Preparation Note

無菌溶液は2～8°Cで保管しなければなりません。溶液は、室温とpH 2～14の沸騰水性緩衝液中で安定であることも示されています。[2]
