Biochem/physiol Actions
アルブミンは体液中および動物と一部の植物の種子の組織中にみられる可溶性の単量体タンパク質です。血清アルブミンはステロイド、脂肪酸、甲状腺ホルモンの担体タンパク質として機能します。血清アルブミンは血液のコロイド浸透圧の調節にも不可欠です。
血清アルブミンは、主に二価陽イオン輸送、脂肪酸や薬物複合体の形成および輸送を仲介します。血清アルブミン濃度によって、末期肝疾患の疾患進行がわかります。低体重や血清アルブミン値の低下は、結腸直腸癌と関連があります。
血清アルブミンはステロイド、脂肪酸、甲状腺ホルモンの担体タンパク質として機能し、血液のコロイド浸透圧の調節にも不可欠です。またアルブミンは、薬物(イブプロフェン、ワルファリンなど)を始めとした外因性物質に結合し、薬物動態に強く影響を及ぼします。アルブミンの酸化還元状態の変化につながる酸化ストレスは、その生理機能に様々な影響を及ぼします。
