General description
アビジンは卵白から得られるホモ四量体タンパク質（68kDa）です。この卵タンパク質はビオチンに強く結合することから、イムノアッセイでアビジン-ビオチン結合を利用して組織内での抗原局在を検出しています。アビジン-ビオチンイムノアッセイを使用すると、手法の感度が向上し、少量の抗原の検出が容易になります。
Application
アビジン-ペルオキシダーゼは、抗5-ブロモデオキシウリジン（抗BrdU）結合およびOVA-IgG1の検出に使用されています。
マウス血清中のGa1欠損IgA1抗体を検出するために、IgA1に結合するビオチン化HAAとともにインキュベートした血清を使用して、96ウェルプレートでELISAアッセイを実施しました。次に、HRP結合アビジンを得られた血清とともに37°Cで40分間インキュベートしました。
