アデノシン二リン酸（ADP）は、生体におけるエネルギーフローの重要な構成要素です。その構造は、アデニンに結合した糖骨格と、リボース糖の5番目の炭素原子に結合した2つのリン酸基で構成されています。ADPはATP生合成のための前駆体を供給します。 ADPは、特にP2Y受容体を標的とする弱い血小板アゴニストとして機能します。ただし、ADPは他の血小板アゴニストの作用を増強して、血小板密顆粒から放出される際の血小板凝集体の安定性を促進することにより、血小板機能に極めて重要な役割を果たします。

Application

アデノシン5′-二リン酸は、ラット脳における放出、神経細胞への影響、および細胞外β-ニコチンアミド・アデニン・ジヌクレオチド（β-NAD+）の除去の研究に使用されています。 アデノシン5′-二リン酸は、急性冠症候群後のプラスグレルとクロピドグレルの抗血小板療法の比較にも使用されています。
