General description
カコジル酸ナトリウムは、in vivoで代謝により無機三価ヒ素を生成する、有機ヒ素化合物です。カコジル酸ナトリウムは、毒性学的研究においてヒ素の供給源として使用されています。バッファーとして使用され、有効なpH緩衝域は5.1～7.4です。顕微鏡観察では、カコジル酸の緩衝能によって、組織固定から生じると考えられる過剰な酸性度が抑制されます。
