コンアルブミンは鉄結合タンパク質です。主にニワトリの卵白に存在します。コンアルブミンはオボトランスフェリンとも呼ばれます。トランスフェリン鉄結合糖タンパク質ファミリーに属します。オボトランスフェリンは、一部の生物の急性期タンパク質（APP）としても知られています。オボトランスフェリンは、卵白で2番目に多いタンパク質です。
