Biochem/physiol Actions

シチジン5′-一リン酸（CMP）は、ウリジン一リン酸（UMP）/シチジン一リン酸（CMP）キナーゼ（EC 2.7.4.4）の基質として使用されてCDPを形成します。CDPはCTPへのリン酸化によりDNAおよびRNAの生合成を助けます。
ヌクレオシド二リン酸であるシチジン二リン酸（CDP）およびウリジンニリン酸（UDP）は、ピリミジン合成に必要です。シチジン5′-一リン酸（CMP）ヌクレオチドは、骨材料を模倣するバイオミメティックなアパタイトの吸着研究に有用です。また、小児用栄養剤の免疫サプリメントとなります。
