Drabkin試薬は、脳出血の評価のため脳組織で、溶血の検出のため赤血球試料で、また対側および同側の脳組織ホモジネート試料で、それぞれ血中ヘモグロビンの比色定量に用いられています。
General description
Drabkin試薬は、血液試料中のヘモグロビン濃度の測定に使用します。これは、フェリシアン化カリウム、シアン化カリウムおよびリン酸二水素カリウムの成分からなります。フェリシアン化カリウムは、ヘモグロビンをメトヘモグロビンに、さらにシアンメトヘモグロビンに酸化します。波長530 nmでシアンメトヘモグロビン濃度を推定します。これは信頼性が高い方法であり、スルフヘモグロビン以外の全種類のヘモグロビンの測定が可能です。
