Biochem/physiol Actions
インスリン受容体チロシンキナーゼの阻害物質であるフェチュインは、骨リモデリングおよびカルシウム代謝を調節します。ケラチノサイト遊走および乳腺腫瘍細胞増殖シグナル伝達に関与します。また、フェチュインは血管石灰化、インスリン抵抗性およびプロテアーゼ活性を調節します。神経変性疾患のバイオマーカーとして機能します。フェチュインは抗炎症特性を示します。
General description
ウシ胎仔血清由来のフェチュインは、64 kDaの血漿糖タンパク質です。フェチュインは肝臓および脂肪組織で産生されます。
Preparation Note
Pederson,K.O.J. Phys. and Colloid Chem.,51,164（1947）の方法によるウシ胎仔血清の硫酸アンモニウム分画によって調製します。
