Application
Ficoll® 400は、ジアトリゾ酸ナトリウム（Paque）とともにFicoll-Paque（混合水溶液）の調製に用いられます。Ficoll-Paqueは、細胞やオルガネラの分離、特に血液由来リンパ球や単球の分離に用いられます。Ficoll 400は、細胞やオルガネラの新規分離系の開発に用いられています。Ficoll 400は、組織工学や高分子クラウディング（MMC）系・環境の開発、評価、利用を目的とした高分子構造研究に用いられています。
細胞の分離や細胞小器官の単離に使用します。
