Biochem/physiol Actions
平衡塩溶液（BSS）は細胞培養において多面的で、さまざまな機能を持っています。洗浄液、輸送液、希釈液として機能し、細胞内外の浸透圧の平衡を保ちます。BSSは、正常な細胞代謝に不可欠な特定の大量の無機イオンと水を細胞に供給します。グルコースなどの炭水化物と結合し、細胞代謝の主要なエネルギー源として機能します。BSSはまた、培地を生理的pHの範囲（7.2～7.6）に保つ緩衝系も提供します。
