Biochem/physiol Actions
MKL1（巨核芽球性白血病［転座］1）は転写コアクチベーターです。GアクチンはMKL1と相互作用して、その転写因子SRF（血清応答因子）との会合を阻害します。GアクチンからMKL1が放出されると、SRFとMKL1が相互作用します。この会合は細胞骨格タンパク質の発現を制御します。MKL1は、骨格、心臓、平滑筋の分化にも関与しています。また腫瘍細胞の浸潤や転移を促進します。
