General description

インドメタシンは、酵素シクロオキシゲナーゼ1および2のインヒビターです。インドメタシンは消化管、腎臓および大脳に対する副作用があります。インドメタシンは、イブプロフェンと共に、呼吸促迫症候群の小児に見られる動脈管開存症（PDA）の治療に有効です。直腸インドメタシンは、内視鏡的逆行性胆管造影（ERCP）誘発膵炎の治療に有効です。
