Application

Phaseolus vulgaris（赤インゲンマメ）由来レクチンは、以下の用途に使用されています：
  • 分化（CD4+）T細胞のクラスターの刺激
  • 一次末梢血リンパ球の活性化
  • 末梢血単核球の刺激

Biochem/physiol Actions

PHAは、分裂促進活性は低くエリスロアグルチニン活性が高いエリスロアグルチニン（PHA-E）と、分裂促進活性とロイコ凝集活性は高くエリスロ凝集活性が非常に低いロイコアグルチニン（PHA-L）という2つの分子種で構成されています。
PHA-Eは血液型特異的ではなく、凝集反応は特定のオリゴ糖によって阻害されることがあります。PHA-Pは、エリスロアグルチニンとロイコアグルチニンを分離・精製する前のたんぱく質形態のPHAです。PHA-Mはムコたんぱく形態です。共役は対応する精製レクチンから調製されます。
