リポ多糖（LPS）類はグラム陰性細菌の細胞壁に特徴的な化合物です。LPSおよびそのリピド A 部分は、共通の病原体関連分子構造を認識する Toll 様受容体タンパク質ファミリー（PAMPs）の一員である Toll 様受容体 4（TLR4）により、自然免疫系細胞を刺激します。

  • メチルチアゾリルテトラゾリウム（MTT）アッセイによってヒト絨毛膜絨毛由来間葉系幹細胞（hCMSC）の細胞生存性を調べるため
  • 少数の化合物の神経保護的効果を評価するために、オリゴデンドロサイト毒性を誘発するため
  • クルクミン負荷疎水性表面修飾ヒドロキシアパタイトの抗酸化作用を評価するために、ラットでサルコペニアを誘発するため

Biochem/physiol Actions

リポ多糖（LPS）は、抗生物質と胆汁塩の侵入を阻止する保護透過障壁を形成して、グラム陰性菌を本質的に耐性にします。宿主免疫系は特に細菌のLPS成分と遭遇するため、LPSは細菌の病原性に関与します。LPSはエンドトキシンであり、免疫系を強化できる高度に免疫原性の抗原です。LPSの脂質Aは、トル様受容体4（TLR4）を介して宿主細胞を刺激します。

General description

リポ多糖（LPS）は糖脂質、つまり単独または複数の脂肪酸と結合した糖質単位の組合せであり、グラム陰性菌の細胞壁に見られます。LPSは外膜の重要な成分であり、LPSの構造は脂質A、グルコサミンベースリン脂質、ショートコアオリゴ糖、およびO-抗原（末端多糖）で構成されます。

LPS 製剤を最適に再構成するためには、容器の種類にかかわらず、使用前に集中的なボルテックスが必要です。保存液の濃度が少なくとも 1 mg/ml であることを確認してください。ホウケイ酸（シラン処理）容器が推奨されますが、ポリプロピレン（PP）プラスチック容器を使用することもできます。
