本製品は、Klebsiella pneumoniaeから抽出されたフェノールです。源株はATCC 15380です。
Preparation Note
本製品は水(5 mg/ml)または細胞培養培地(1 mg/ml)に溶解し、かすんだ淡黄色の溶液になります。より濃い溶液(20 mg/ml)もかすんでいますが、ボルテックスミキサーで処理し、70~80oCに温めた後、生理食塩水で調製できました。リポ多糖は、あらゆる溶媒中でミセルを形成する分子です。かすんだ溶液は水およびリン酸緩衝生理食塩水で観察されます。有機溶媒はより透明な溶液を与えません。メタノールでは浮遊物を含む濁ったサスペンションとなりますが、水では均一にかすんだ溶液になります。
