リノール酸-水溶性は、初代ヒト肝細胞（PHH）のin vitro脂肪変性誘発のための肥育媒体の構成要素として使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
リノール酸（LA）はアラキドン酸前駆体で、植物油に含まれています。糖尿病ラットの創傷治癒を促進します。LAは、結腸直腸癌細胞における腫瘍とアポトーシスを引き起こします。脂肪組織と血小板におけるLAのレベルは、冠動脈疾患に関連しています。リノール酸は、ウシ血清アルブミン（BSA）やシクロデキストリンなどの分子に結合して、細胞培養に使用されます。

1グラムあたり約30 mgのリノ-ル酸を含有し、残りはメチル-β-シクロデキストリンです。
