Biochem/physiol Actions

ネオマイシンは、ストレプトマイセス属（Streptomyces）が生産するアミノグリコシド系抗生物質で、ネオマイシンBの含量が85%以上です。ネオ選択性マーカー遺伝子を用いて形質転換した原核細胞の選択剤として機能します。ネオマイシン三硫酸塩は、抗菌薬の細胞毒性による副作用、ある種の線維芽細胞における血小板由来増殖因子の反応、核内ホスファチジルイノシトール4,5-二リン酸相互作用タンパク質の抽出の試験で用いられます。本製品を細胞培養に利用するときは、5 mL/Lで使用することを推奨します。
作用機序：本製品は30Sと50Sのサブユニットに結合して作用し、タンパク質合成中にミスコードを起こしたり、開始と伸長を阻害したりします。 ネオマイシンはまた、ニューロンのNa+/Ca2+アンチポーターに影響を与えることなく、電位感受性Ca2+チャネルを遮断します。
抗菌スペクトル：ネオマイシンは、グラム陽性菌とグラム陰性菌のいずれにも作用します。

Disclaimer

本溶液は、0.9%塩化ナトリウム中に10 mg/mLのネオマイシンを含有するように調製されています。37℃で5日間安定であり、その他の場合は2～8℃で保管しなければなりません。
