ナイスタチンはポリエン系の抗生物質です。使用目的には、細胞培養のコンタミネーションの予防、TLR2発現THP1細胞におけるインターロイキン（IL）-1、IL-8、および腫瘍壊死因子a分泌の誘導が含まれます。本製品は、細胞培養において50 mg/Lでの使用が推奨されます。

Biochem/physiol Actions

作用機序：ナイスタチンは真菌の細胞膜内のエルゴステロールに結合し、膜の透過性を増大させ、ナイスタチン／エルゴステロールに基づくイオンチャネルを生成することにより作用します。 また、脂質ラフト阻害試薬および膜関連コレステロールとしても機能します。

抗菌スペクトル：ナイスタチンは真菌、酵母およびカビに作用します。

Disclaimer

組織培養培地中のナイスタチンは37℃で3日間安定です。また、中程度のアルカリ性培地中でも安定です。溶液および水性懸濁液は調製後速やかに活性を消失し始め、熱、光および酸素により分解が促進されます。水性懸濁液はpH 7において100℃に加熱した場合 10 分間安定です。

容器は密閉し、乾燥した換気のよい場所で保管してください。不活性ガス下で保管します。空気および光感受性です。乾燥した場所で保管してください。

Preparation Note

ナイスタチンは28°Cにおいて、メタノール（11.2 mg/mL）、エタノール（1.2 mg/mL）、四塩化炭素（1.23 mg/mL）、クロロホルム（0.48 mg/mL）、ベンゼン（0.28 mg/mL）およびエチレングリコール（8.75 mg/mL）に可溶性です。 DMFおよびホルムアルデヒドに溶けやすく、DMSO（5 mg/mL）にも可溶です。 ナイスタチン溶液のオートクレーブ滅菌または滅菌ろ過は推奨されません。 ナイスタチンは懸濁液としても有効であり、37°Cで3日間安定です。 50 mg/mLの保存用懸濁水溶液を調製し、-20°Cで保存します。この製品はN6261からγ-照射されます。
