General description
ノイラミニダーゼは、末端のシアル酸残基の加水分解を触媒する、グリコシド結合加水分解酵素です。インフルエンザウイルスの放出を促進するウイルス性ノイラミダーゼが最も知られています。

1 unitは、他に特に規定がなければ、NAN-ラクトースまたはウシ顎下腺ムチンを使用し、pH 5.0、37°C、1分間で1.0 μmoleのN-アセチルノイラミン酸を遊離させます。価格は基質として使用するNAN-ラクトースのunit数に基づいています。
