Application

ペニシリンGは、狭スペクトルの天然抗生物質です。本化合物は、肺炎球菌Streptococcus pneumoniae、A、B、C、G群溶血性連鎖球菌、非腸球菌グループD連鎖球菌、緑色連鎖球菌、および非ペニシリナーゼ産生ブドウ球菌に対して有効です。ペニシリンGは、ペニシリン感受性が低いゲンタマイシン耐性Enterococcus faecalis配列6型の診断および治療への示唆となる研究のために使用されています。また細胞培養物にペニシリンGを単独で使用したときの作用、ならびにストレプトマイシンおよび他の抗生物質と併用したときの作用を研究するために使用されています。

Biochem/physiol Actions

作用機序：ペニシリンGは、ペニシリン結合タンパク質（PBP）に結合して細胞壁合成を阻害することで作用し、ペプチドグリカン鎖架橋を阻害します。

抗菌スペクトル：ペニシリンGには、グラム陽性およびグラム陰性細菌に対する活性があります。

Disclaimer

溶液はろ過滅菌する必要があり、2～8℃で1週間保存できます。また、-20℃でさらに長期間保存できます。溶液は37℃で3日間安定です。ナトリウム塩は100 mg/mLでH₂Oに溶解します。
