General description
小麦胚芽tRNAには、多数の異なる、特定のtRNA分子が含まれています。
Application
コムギ胚芽から精製された粗精製トランスファーRNA(tRNA)には多数の特異的tRNA分子が含まれており、これらは様々な方法で分離可能です。in vitro翻訳系を利用した構造・機能の詳細な研究のための実験には、多くの場合高度に精製されたtRNAが必要です。そのためには、クロマトグラフィー分離とtRNAの可逆的な生化学的修飾を組み合わせて精製が行われます。コムギ胚芽tRNAは、RNAse Z(tRNA 3'-プロセシングエンドヌクレアーゼ)をコムギ胚芽から精製するために用いられてきました。この精製は6段階からなり、中でも最も効果的な工程はコムギ胚芽tRNAを含むアフィニティーカラムを用いたもので、このカラムにRNAse Zが強力に結合します。
核酸の精製および沈降における担体としての使用に適しています。
Preparation Note
tRNAは凍結乾燥粉末として提供され、水に2 mg/mLの濃度で溶解します。

1単位は、1.0 mLの水（光路長1 cm）で260 nmの吸光度が1.0となります。
