General description
インターロイキン10（IL-10）は、マクロファージ、単球、T細胞、B細胞などのさまざまな種類の哺乳類細胞で産生される免疫抑制サイトカインです。マウスIL-10は、ヒト細胞に対し不活性です。このタンパク質をコードする遺伝子は、ヒト染色体1q31-32に位置しています。

Application
ヒトIL-10 ELISAキットは、血液透析（HD）を受けている尿毒症患者の血漿中のインターロイキン10（IL-10）を検出する酵素結合免疫吸着アッセイ（ELISA）に使用されています。
研究用途専用。診断目的での使用はできません。

Biochem/physiol Actions
IL-10（インターロイキン10）は、抗炎症性サイトカインです。IL-10は、IL-1やTNF（腫瘍壊死因子）-αなどの炎症性サイトカインの発現を阻害します。IL-10は、IL-4と同様に体液性免疫応答を増強し、細胞性免疫反応を減衰させます。IL-10遺伝子の多型性は、子癇前症、強直性脊椎炎、鼻咽頭がん、基底細胞がんのリスクの上昇に関連しています。-1082A/GでのIL-10の多型性は、糖尿病性腎症と関連しています。
