Application
タンパク質の変性剤として、また不溶性タンパク質や変性タンパク質に対する穏やかな可溶化剤として用いられています。6 M塩酸グアニジンですでに変性された封入体などのサンプルからタンパク質を復元する用途に適しています。変性タンパク質を天然型または活性型にリフォールディングさせる際に、塩酸グアニジンやジチオスレイトール(DTT)とともに使用することができます。
