A cell-permeable benzimidazole compound that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinases (IC50 = 300 nM and 200 nM for IRAK-1 and -4). Shown to exhibit little activity against a panel of 27 other kinases (IC50 >10 ยตM), including lck and src. Also available as a 25 mM solution in DMSO (Cat. No. 407602).
