18:1 BMP (S,R) is suitable for use in the preparation of lipid vesicles.

Biochem/physiol Actions

18:1 BMP (S,R)/Lysobisphosphatidic acid (LBPA) can modulate endosomal cholesterol levels. It participates in cholesterol transport. LBPA helps to regulate the cholesterol storage capacity of endosomes.
